Anarchy Zone

Kicking off Saturday's music program with a spiked boot to your teeth, Anarchy Zone from Aarhus have taken the best parts of all the frantic and melodic thrash you know from bands like Testament, Exodus and, well, Slayer, and turned it into their own thing. Their recent debut Devil's Island (a nod to the other end of Denmark, mayhap?) is a blistering concoction of thrash the way we all love it Bay Area style, but with a refreshing local twist.
