In the early nineties, Japanese black metal band Sigh caught the attention of Mayhem's Euronymous, who ended up releasing their debut Scorn Defeat on his mythical Deathlike Silence Productions label - as the only non-Scandinavian band. We had the good fortune to experience Sigh perform this historic masterpiece in its gory splendor some years back here at Metal Magic, and now Sigh are coming back for us: although they have long since diverged into more experimental and complex compositions, the treats we're getting are pure black metal classics in the form of their first SIGH (releases Scorn Defeat, Infidel Art, Ghastly Funeral Theatre and Hail Horror Hail).
