Dionysiaque

France doesn't always get its due in the doom metal conversation, but Paris-based quintet Dionysiaque should hopefully get that sorted. This strange outfit with equally eclectic inspirations has made its name with two highly original albums in the last few years, including the avantgarde masterpiece debut Diogonos and the sophomore La Tourbe des Rêves, which was released as late as March this year. There's something highly curious and fresh about their sound, and we promise that you won't find another band like this anywhere else this year.
