Amethyst

Swiss Amethyst stands as one of the most authentic torchbearers for that magical early NWOBHM sound and listening to them will take you straight back to the white-hot Di’Anno era Maiden. There’s just that wonderful combination of technicality, straightforward energy and, well, those galloping basslines and twin guitar harmonies. Amethyst were brought into motion in 2020 and released their debut album “Throw Down the Gauntlet” last year, so despite the strong 80ies inspiration we’re getting fresh tunes for this performance.
