Pentagram

Pentagram

Saturday, 22.40
Open-air stage

It took Pentagram 14 years to release their first album, and that was forty years ago. This might give you an indication of the time span legendary doom pioneers Pentagram have been in the game. Fronted by only original member and vocalist, the one of a kind mainman Bobby Liebling, Pentagram from Washington are well known for being one of the very first doom metal bands on the scene, following directly in the slipstream of Black Sabbath’s early material. In January, Pentagram released their first album in ten years, “Lightning in a Bottle”, and according to the reviews, that’s exactly what it is - so there’s plenty of fresh material to go with all the classics once they hit the stage on Saturday.
