Afsky+Halvcirkel

Afsky have by now established themselves as one of the absolute focal points on the Danish black metal scene, and probably really don’t need much further introduction here, especially since they’ve played at Metal Magic multiple times in recent years, including last year. The classical string trio Halvcirkel, however, are probably slightly more obscure with this audience. Nonetheless, Afsky and Halvcirkel teamed up for a supremely successful acoustic collaboration set at the Colossal Weekend festival last year - and this year it happens again. The joint venture will, for this session, focus on Afsky’s 2022 acoustic EP “I Stilhed”, which most certainly will take on an entirely new dimension when augmented with Halvcirkel’s skillful violins and cello. This is a unique opportunity that really shouldn’t be missed.
