Goat Semen

Yeah, sometimes you look at the name and you get a pretty good idea of what you will get. Well, not literal caprine ejaculate this time (be careful in the front rows though, just in case), but raw, uncompromising black/death metal that has been warped into a weapon of sonic mayhem. Lima’s Goat Semen are celebrating 25 years of insanity this year, despite only having released a single album ten years ago - peppered with a myriad of splits and live albums, though. This is the kind of band that makes the kind of music that makes most other bands in the scene seem polite - but if you’re curious about a band that’s called Goat Semen, it’s probably not politeness you’re after, anyway.
